When you leave your ditto and prefered pokemon at the daycare make sure you ride your bike left and right until the guy out front turns around so you can see his face.
If you want, after leaving the daycare go ahead and talk to him and he will say how well they like each other. Example: Your pokemon seem to get along. Means they will breed faster than... Example: Your pokemon dont seem to like each other very well. They will still give eggs if is says they dont like each other very well but it means you gotta take more steps.
