What is up guys, recently I have been wanting to update my dash to 16547 but I could not get my CPU key. If you are like me and don't have the disk / .txt document that came with your JTAG/RGH aswell as not being able to get your CPU over your network for whatever reason I can help you.

Since most people has their CPU key I'm not going to make a huge post with pictures.

Step by step on how to get your CPU Key

First go into FSD > Then go to file manager > Open Dashlaunch & run the default.xex.
[Dashlaunch could be named DL]
Once in Dashlaunch press RB until you get to a page with the heading Miscellaneous the second tab should say System Info Press A and you should see your CPU Key, B is to exit

If you're using XeX Menu just go into the root of your USB/HDD or wherever your Dashlaunch is quite frankly, run the default.xex and follow the steps above.

Or you could boot into xell and manually type it in. That's what I've done for all my consoles I've jtagged and even take a picture of it with your phone. But nice tut I've never thought about that.

That is the easiest way to do it! Also you do not need to go into FreeStyle Dash
