Title says it all. With the strenght of his schedule you can do amazing things, but put him in a real game and looky there, hes average.

From the way he played most of the year, yes...
From the way he is playing in the Championship game as of now, no!

No. He definitely did not deserve the Heisman. His crappy team schedule contributed to him winning. The Heisman is a stupid award now a days. They should rename it to the offensive MVP and give it to whoever is truly the best, not based on their teams record completely.
Don't get me wrong, he did great in the regular season, but lets be honest here, if I stuck anyone into that schedule, they would look decent.
So he's a good player, but he's definitely not the best or the most deserving of the Heisman.

A Teams record has NOTHING to do with the heisman. The heisman is an award that goes to the player who makes the biggest contribution to his team. RG3 wasnt the best player when he won, but he was the best for his team. same with manziel. same with jameis winston. without those players, their respective teams are no where as good. RG3 lost 2 or 3 games the year he won and manziel lost 1 or 2. if it was based on record, AJ McCarron would have won it the last 3 years

He deserved it, He changed that team completely. Without him they wouldn't be there and his stats throughout the season was impressive.

If record has nothing to do with it, why did Johnny Manziel not win? He was statistically the best quarterback who put up record numbers. You can't even say that Jameis Winston is a better quarterback, because look up the stats

I don't know I wanted my boy Braxton Miller to win it but his stats wasent the best this year not to mention the lost to Michigan State in The Big Ten Championship and the lost to Clemson in the Discover Orange Bowl didn't help his chances at all !

How can you say he is just average after one decent game vs. the second best team in the nation? I believe he is great still.
