Can always blame the manager, what people have to understand they have fergie as there manager for a long time so i doubt they are used to change, give them a season or two and they will be back in the top3

He needs more time to settle in and some of the main players are missing which also has an effect on how many games they win

David needs more time to settle in and get to know everyone around the club better, just remember sir Alex ferguson never did well in his first season. The rest is history

I agree he needs time but he shouldn't be losing as many games as he is.

I think in time he will become good however Utd don't have time, they have an ageing squad, loads of debt, tight owners and can't spend loads because of FFP and most importantly they've lost their fear factor.

They've gone in to transition when a lot of teams have improved such as Liverpool and Arsenal.


If they don't get champions league(which looks unlikely) it's a slippery slope from there.

United don't have time? Says who? After they won the treble in 1999 they had a few poor seasons without great success, it's called rebuilding and transition. This was always going to be a very difficult season for United, they'll be stronger for it next season.

Ageing squad? Partly, some key players are getting on now but they still have some good young players who admittedly need to step it up a gear.

As for their debt, yes it's still quite substantial but it's coming down a lot each year due to the profit margins and record turnover each year.

As for tight owners, I'm not sure where you got that from. They spend frequently and big, sure they don't have the spending power that the sugar daddies at Chelsea and City provide, but they are far from tight.

FFP effects every team, not just United, if they fail to qualify for the CL it'll have repercussions for them for sure. United have a huge turnover though and should be okay, it's teams that don't or that are kept afloat by billionaires which will be in trouble, my case in point being that Chelsea posted a loss of 50 million for the year ending June 2013 and not a profit.

They've lost their fear factor for sure, but if they get a sustained period of good results, bring in a few quality players next season and get rid of some of the deadwood, they'll be challenging again in no time. Great teams always bounce back.

I think Moyes needs time, was he the right choice? That remains to be seen, he's a good manager though and I have no doubt he'll have success soon enough.

Moyes needs to make Man united HIS team, just like Mourinho is trying to do with Chelsea at the moment.
Half of united is still SAF's team, he needs to revamp it to his liking and not by signing players from Everton.

Look at when Alex Ferguson first started, he didnt get of to a very good start, United fans need to give Moyes time to settle in and get an idea of what he's working with, but he needs to pull his finger out soon no doubt.
