try deleting everything you have for gta and re install the whole game yes you might have to start over but nothing else has worked this far

Thats gta oline is is just for storyplayer

Have you tried deleting the title update (1.08 I believe) restoring the system and reinstalling the update?

that will probably fix it, starting from scratch will solve it. deleted everything then reinstalling it will most likely fix it, if not send an email to rockstar

I know someone else just siad this but you said it first so you get the roe! It was the savegame! I had tried to mod it but It had gone wrong so it was freezing my game!
