Yes, EVGA power supplies are very reputable and reliable. When in doubt, check out the reviews.

They are very good, my friend has one and it holds his good build while being quiet. However I can't recommend them as I've never owned one so I can't say much.

It depends on the model you are looking at. EVGA don't make their own supplies like many other companies, and you should look at unit specific reviews from legitimate reviewers to see how they perform under stress.

That NEX750G looks better than I expected, but I still don't know if i'd trust have the gamers I know to balance their components out through the four rails. As for the 500B it does look adequate for the job but in the UK at least, with the XFX 450 model being the same price its hard to justify it.

And yeah the RM750 is a pretty sucky unit, its a shame Corsair tried to justify it with something along the lines of: "Our customers wanted XYZ features at a low price point so we have to compromise on component quality a little". Just isn't something i'd imagine Corsair to say.

they have been making power supplys for companys for
over 30 years and yes EVGA is a good company they make
quality Aftermarket cooling for there graphics cards so i expect the same for there power supplys

Please read what you write on the forums as a lot of it doesn't make sense.

Some companies make no power supplies themselves and just get units made by OEM partners to be labelled as their own. Some companies like Seasonic will make power supply platforms and sell them under their brand, and also to partners.

SeaSonic is not the only quality maker of power supplies and you should never trust a brand or a maker totally as even brands that have a track record of making good supplies can make a crap unit just to satisfy cheaper markets. You should rely on third party reviews from the likes of JonnyGURU, TechPowerUp and others to clarify whether the components inside the unit are what you are actually paying for.

A good example to this, is SeaSonic's X-Series. It is a SeaSonic KM2 platform under the hood which sells for around 120-130GBP in the UK, but the Coolermaster V700 and XFX Black Edition are also KM3 based but sell for 100GBP. All are good but you do get it a lot with power supplies that you will pay more for certain brands, and feature sets.
