I was just browsing the internet and it said that I needed an update for Adobe flash player.
I thought it was real because it's a new computer and I've been doing updates non-stop for a while.
While doing the setup, I realised that it was different to when I normally install Adobe updates.
After it finished installing, I went to my browser's history to see if I downloaded it from Adobe's website and it said I downloaded it from a site named "Adoodeo".
I searched it up on Google and couldn't find much about it but there was a post on another forum about it and people were saying it's probably a virus.
I uninstalled any software it also installed.
I downloaded ADW Cleaner and ran it.
It detected 2 files in the registry.
I cleaned them and did a system restart.
Is that enough to get rid of the virus (if it was one)?
If not, what else should I do?
+REP for helpful answers!
Thanks in advance.
