I am looking into building a gaming PC or buying an Xbox One. Which one do you guys think is best and why? I am thinking that a gaming PC is more useful and can be used for much more things.

It really depends on what you prefer. I was a xbox 360 gamer for 4 years then in june i sold my xbox and built a 600pound pc. I enjoyed it but after a while i began to miss the xbox. 5 months later i went back to console gaming :/

I feel like that's whats gonna happen to me. I have two xbox 360's, one flashed and case modded and the other stock for xbox live, but I hardly use them anymore. I feel like the PC for me is the way to go as I write software and want to experience gaming on the PC.
Still would like to hear some opinions though!

Well if you do go pc gaming make sure to buy a razor nostromo or something similar, they can be found quite cheap on ebay and i found they made my gaming experience 100% better.

I have both and I use them about equally. They are both great but it depends on your personal preference too.

This is a tough topic.
I have always been a console gamer except for the past 3 years.
I loved the stability of my consoles.
I loved building my own gaming PC.
... But after owning both the Xbox One and my Gaming PC, I've had more enjoyment using the One, but that's my view. Just buy what you really like.

i just purchased my xbox one today and so far have really enjoyed it. Plus you dont have to buy new graphic cards constantly as developers optimize for the system . thats just my 2 cents though
