If I jailbreak my ps3 can i use the hacks online on that ps3 or do i need a seperate ps3 so sorry for seeming like an idiot I just don't know and I don't want to spend money then not be able to use the hacks on my jail broken ps3???

You do not need 2 ps3's to mod online.
