Invite a friend and they will be able to open the gate. You will not be able to see them unless they are not in a car.

EDIT: Oh, and I don't lag it a second time. Only to go to the store and then to leave the game is when I lag it. I don't lag anymore after that. Each time I have put the lag on 'Insane' and I have spawned in his house much more often, not always, but a lot more than at the start.
