I have had this custom built PC now for about 3 months, yet it stalls for about 20 seconds and i get a lot of 'not responding'

Any ideas?

My PC specs:
FX 6300
Asus m5a97 LE R2.0
MSI r7950 3GB
8GB RAM
800WATT Power Supply
1TB Caviar Blue
Windows 7 64 bit

THANKS

From what I think, it is a HDD issue, but just simply check everything and make sure everything is where it should be, although im pretty sure it's your HDD

Best of luck

Everyone should have known it was WD drive anyway, they're the only ones who make Caviar Blue drives.

But anyway, it could be a HDD problem, but it is very unusual that it is. Have you tried reinstalling the programs you're having trouble opening? Also, DeFrag your HDD as it could just take a long time to find the right files if they've been moved.
