I decided to start campaign and got a decent way through it, but was tired and wanted to leave it till the next day. I came back to find it wouldnt let me resume and gave me the option to choose a difficulty, almost as if I hadn't played before. Any idea how you can fix this?

Dice did release a patch to reduce the corruption of gamesaves but it only minimised the problem and didn't completely get rid of it so the best thing to do is to wait until they can iron out this issue which may take awhile due to all the multiplayer bugs or just play through the campaign in one go.
