Whenever I load up my PC and/or try to go onto Curse Client it comes up with the message "An error has occurred while attempting to load a Microsoft .Net configuration file. This is often an indication of a corrupted .Net installation.
We recommend visiting the Microsoft Download Center to repair your .Net installation. Would you like to go there now?"
When I click yes and download what it wants me to, boot it up and everything it still doesn't work, do any of you have any suggestions as to what I should do? Thanks

If I was you I would just uninstall the client and manually install addons since it isn't hard.

I had exactly the same problem trying to load it on a new W8.1 machine.
If you can get hold of another pc, download steam onto a USB memory stick. Then transfer over to your machine.

W7 downloads fine, just has a problem with my W8 machine's currently.
