How many hours of sleep does it take to process a normal day. A normal day being like 6 hours at school, work etc. I remember seeing it was 8 hours before but I'm not sure. Just wanted to know because I am staying up later and later and I'm afraid it may affect my GCSE work

I normally try and get about 8 hours or so on week days when I have to get up early.

Try to get at least 8 hours of sleep. I heard that a lot in school.

Well it varies for different people as there schedules might be different if the person is a athlete or has a job with odd hours. Being a runner it is suggested that we get 8 to 9 hours of continuous sleep (not waking up in the middle of the night, or naps.) If you are just getting through work I would say 7-8 is healthy, but if you get 6 you should still be fine.

I try to go for 6 or 7, since if I can sleep for that long then I'll usually feel good when I wake up.
