Who can prove him wrong? That's why they are called "theories". They have not been confirmed but have not been disproved. Until anyone can disprove the Big Bang Theory, that will be the standing grounds of science.

He's a Theoretical physicist, he made a scientific theory of the most logical explanation in the aspect of the world. You could arguably say that Stephen Hawking is an idiot and his theory is trash, but the big-bang theory in general is one of the detailed theories out there. A theory is suppose to summarize various hypothesis, it becomes accepted as a valid explanation in phenomenon.

Have a look into some research and see that this theory, and theories very similar to this, are actually supported by many, and hold some convincing information.

His theory is more logical than a "god" poofing it into existence.

He has actually provided an explanation alongside this claim.
However, I'm not a physicist, you're not a physicist and I'm pretty sure nobody else on this forum is a physicist, so the validity of it is open to question.
I'd rather not argue with a man who has a PhD in a subject, when I don't.

The flaw in the argument is the assumption of causality, and that it's linear. Nothing doesn't exist, which makes saying a given entity is nothing empty.
