Tell me your thoughts on this. I personally agree with it only because I was literally less than 5 miles away from Arapahoe High. I played there soccer team a couple times and even worse my brothers school is less than 1/2 a mile away from there. Give me your thoughts on this.

Arming teachers is the only way to actually stop a school shooting.

Putting up signs saying "Gun free zone" isn't going to stop a criminal.

INB4: That is a stupid idea!!11!
Do your research.

The teachers that would be armed go through vigorous training and is kept very discrete as to what teachers are actually armed.

INB4: Just calls the cops
"I don't want people to have guns inside the school so I will just call someone with guns to bring them to the school"

Totally agree. Like laws and "gun free" posters will stop a criminal.

No, this is why there is police at (most) schools. Having armed teachers is just as dangerous as having armed kids in a school.

That isn't a bad idea. But there is one problem, there can be incidents with these guns

How do you figure that?

Teachers would go through training that is much more in depth than the standard concealed carry along with many psychiatric tests.

15 Trained and armed teachers > 1 cop

Again, if you do research this wouldn't concern you.
The only people that would know where this gun is would be the teacher, principal, and the cop that signed the permit.

Right. A guy with a gun can kill many people before the cop can react to it.

actually its like 3 cops + security> armed teachers. Most students would not want to be in a room with a teacher with a weapon. You would be surprised at how mad teachers can get at students. I would be fine with a taser but an armed weapon is too far. It should be police armed + Taser teachers lol.

That's the thing though my city doesn't have police. We have the County Sheriffs and stuff but there throughout the county. Also I'm pretty sure our county is the biggest in CO if not one of them.
