First off, I would like to recognize ZMB_4 for inspiring me to share this guide with his topic : "Basics of Body Building". If you haven't read it check it out, it's well written.
Anyways, Have you ever woken up one day and decided that is was going to be the day that you got healthier, whether it was losing weight or you just want to feel healthier.
But where do you start?
My girlfriend recently came to me crying because she wanted to lose weight and feel healthier, and she asked me why what she was doing wasn't working. I asked her what she was doing, and she said she wasn't eating more than 1 meal a day and exercising daily.
While the exercising daily is nice, the 1 meal is terrible. I you are going to work to get healthy your body needs it's fuel.
So, before I begin to rant on, I will write a step by step process to working to lose weight and get healthier.
1) Set up an exercising schedule. You don't need to work extremely hard and kill yourself to lose weight. It can actually be bad for your body if you work too hard at the beginning. Pick an exercise routine you can do daily. Make sure it has some kind of strength training, such as push ups. Also, make sure you have some kind of cardio, whether it is walking or jogging.
2) Set up a eating schedule. It is important to make sure you are getting the essential nutrients your body needs through eating healthy foods. Many times people eat fast food as well as work out and they wonder why they don't feel healthy. Those kinds of foods will drag down your body's processing of the food, and the fat won't get digested and will just stick.
3) DRINK WATER! Your body consists mostly of water, so if you do the first two steps and don't drink enough water you will be wasting your time. You should try to drink 3-4 bottles of water a day regardless of if you are going to work out that day or not.
4) Listen to your body. If you have been working hard for a few days take a day off. Make sure you are still eating healthy and drinking water, but you don't need to work out everyday. Your body will get tired, so make sure you spread out your work evenly so your body has time to rejuvenate itself.
I know many people won;t read this entire thing, so I will sum it up.
Steady exercise, healthy eating, and drinking water are key to getting healthier.
Thank you to those who read this entire post, and again thanks to ZMB_4 for the inspiration to write up this post.
If you have any questions feel free to message me, and I did just type out this entire guide, so please don't say that I copy and pasted from anywhere. I like to do honest work.
Thank you,
Jordan

If you want a healthier body I recommend getting a gym membership and make a routine that fits your schedule and goals. Go on a diet, make sure you get your macros and drink water. Everybody has different goals as in losing weight/gaining weight/gaining muscle. Just do some research and trial and error and keep track what you're doing and always improve. This requires patience !

Being healthy and getting fit are not necessarily the same thing. Cutting out processed foods, artificial sweeteners, trans fats and the like will give you a "healthier" body.
Working out while eating less fast food and still drinking calorie free energy drinks will make you more "fit", but your body will not be getting any "healthier".
