Well thats false because i have one and its impossible for x and y to be modded only lv mods got threw pokebank. And theres been special events in america for shiny mew anyway lol

It's actually not as impossible as you might think. I've seen many hacked Pokemon since PokeBank released. Theres actually a website (where a few of my Pokemon from White 2 are in Limbo) that are currently working on a way to transfer and clone Pokemon into gen 6. There was most likely 2000 or so Shiny Mews cloned into gen 5 and then put through Pokebank. Some were caught by Nintendo since they all had Premier Ribbons so that they couldn't have been seen as legit. Either way, there are plenty of hacked Pokemon brought through previous games, and it is not the last we will see of them. They have been around for years, and they will continue to exist.
