The only way to stop a school shooting? Sorry, but thats not true at all. Nothing can prevent a school shooting, this only creates less time for the shooter to do more damage than intended. The only way to stop any type of shooting is to have no guns. Fact!

The only way to stop a school shooting? Sorry, but thats not true at all. Nothing can prevent a school shooting, this only creates less time for the shooter to do more damage than intended. The only way to stop any type of shooting is to have no guns. Fact!

That's like saying the only way to prevent nuclear war is not to have nukes. This is reality, not a fantasy utopia. Bad things will not go away no matter how much you hate them, but guns aren't bad things and neither is nuclear technology.

Exactly my point! They prevent, more shootings. This will not stop school shootings, again stating "Nothing can prevent a school shooting, this only creates less time for the shooter to do more damage than intended."

I can see the good side. In England it is extremely rare for a shooting to take place in a school, so I can't relate. But in America, as the article says, many people have guns. So I do see that it would be better, as if a student was to be dangerous by bringing in a weapon, then they could be, 'detained'...

But if students knew that the teacher had a weapon, they may just open fire on a teacher for no apparent reason, apart from they dislike them. Or a teacher could shoot a student because they don't like them. I mean, all you have to do is see 'Breaking Bad' to see teachers can turn bad ;)

Schools should have security guards or something, the teachers should not be armed in the classroom
