When Xbox Configures a flash drive it sets a limit that only xbox can use it. so when you go to your computer and plug it in it says theirs nothing on it. Use horizon its a program that helps view xbox files.

Try formatting your usb stick by right clicking your usb drive and then click format or open pro file editor then try and delete through there and rehash & resign!

R32 wrote When i plug my USB into my xbox it says i have 4.7gb free, however then when i plug it into my laptop, and try putting a file onto it which is only 3mb, it says i need 5.81mb free?

How can i fix this.

Ill gift gold if someone can tell me and it works!

That would be because it has the Xbox Format. You need to refomat it on your PC.
When you reformat it on the PC, you won't be able to move files to your 360.
The only way to have the full storage accessable on both systems is to use a device explorer on your PC to put files in manualy I believe.
