Its a bug, its been happening to many people lately,
But maybe try deleting the title update and start the game again?

If it was in the first slot of your garage sorry to say it glitched and cant be recovered, I've lost two cars to that spot. I lost an Asea and Dominator fully upgraded needless to say they were valuable now more than ever.

If You Had Insurance On It Then Go To The Phone Then Hit Contacts Then Call The Insurance People If It Was Impounded By The Police Steal It Back Or Pay The Bail.


Edit (It Was A Glitch If Its In Your First Spot Theres No Way Of Recovering It

Sometimes if it was duped or it rearranged in your garage, the full coverage glitches off and the game thinks you have it but you don't. It says (Destroyed) but it's gone forever.

It doesn't always work, but I was able to recover my adder from this by having another car destroyed and calling up Mors Mutual Insurance. It does not always work, so try at your own risk.
