I'm looking for a decent gaming headset with a mic, I live in the UK so my budget is GBP. I don't want a crappy Turtle Beach since they're made out of cheap plastic and that was my last one.

Turtle Beach X12's are fantastic headsets for the price. You can pick them up for around your budget, so have a look round.

I had TB one time, i had them for a month. Soon after the speakers stopped working and the plastic snapped from me easily taking it off my head.

I've had mine for 6 months and they're fine, you might of got the lower end ones which were a bit worse. You can always send them back if they break i think.

Did you purchase them from a retailer? Or were they secondhand? I have had TB12 now for well over a year and they work just the same as they did on the first day I bought them. They are great for the money.

My TB were the official MW3 Foxtrot Version, they cost me about 60 and they were from Curry's. They did last a year but for the price I expected better, I'm looking at TB now and they are over my budget really.

EDIT: The Z11's are pretty ugly.
