The PS4 and the Xbox One have the same specs basically, the Xbox One how ever doesn't have 1080P support on most games except Forza 5 (Xbox one exclusive) your still going to have to pay for the monthly fee every month on the Xbox One and the PS4 so nothing changes there.
but the way I look at it is, if you had a PS3 and you liked it better then get a PS4, you had a 360 and you liked it better than the PS3 then get the Xbox One.
the launch tittles for the PS4 are garbage in my opinion so Xbox one wins for best Launch tittles.
with out 3rd party games on the PS4, you would be a unhappy camper.

Well they're both good but if you're looking into hardcore gaming then go with ps4 because of graphics and genuinely how it looks. If you like watching tv movies but gaming at a lower resolution but still great graphics go with xbox one but tbh they're both great you're lucky to get any of them

I would suggest the PS4. Better graphics, Super HD Netflix streaming and good exclusives.

if you like fps games get the xbox one, i say this because in cod and bf4 you get dlc first and titenfall is only on xbox. if you like other games like racing, arcade and stuff like that then get the ps4 i say this because it has better graphix

You shouldn't of posted in this section, every PS4 fanboy (which is more or less everyone in this section) will say the PS4.

They are both have their pros and cons. In terms of graphics and power, the PS4 is better. I would say the Xbox One has a better multiplayer experience.

Both are great consoles

Its all really a personal thing . It would be better to base it on what your friends or family members have .

Honestly, here's what I figured out when deciding on which console to get:

If you like Sony's exclusives (they always get amazing ones, while Microsoft's exclusives tend to suck *cough*AlanWake*cough*) and you prefer single-player games then get a playstation.

If you want a better multiplayer experience, then get an xbox. The online tends to be better and the chat system is better. But so far, The Xbox One's exclusives have been pretty good so far. So the fact about Microsoft's exclusives sucking all the time may be different this time around, but I still love Sony's exclusives a lot more.

While the PS4 DOES support 1080p on a lot more games than the Xbox One does, I honestly cannot tell the difference between 1080p and 720p. So I personally don't care about that fact.
