Okay if I buy a T-Mobile iphone can I use it for AT&T?

I'm sure you can if it's unlocked, just test it with an AT&T sim first to see if it is unlocked.

Im pretty sure you can because both carriers do use sim cards or GSM in other words but I think you would have to get the phone unlocked and I know At&t do give their customers who want to unlock their phone a certain code which unlocks the phone to use with other carries such as T-Mobile. But im not positive if T-Mobile gives unlock codes but you should ask. Hope this helps, good luck
