If you think joining the army is going to be anything like call of duty is, then I would strongly think again.
War changes you, and you have to be mentally prepared, as it does take a toll on you.

I think you need to find something else to do instead of joining the army because you are ''bored''.
The army isn't a hobby, or a game. It will take a lot out of you if you join.

Honestly? Just because your bored? Killing people does not phase you at all? Please tell me this, have you ever once in your lifetime killed someone?
If you really wanted to join then do so. But not for yourself, but for the country you fight for.
I do not want to join for the sole reason of death itself, I do not want to watch my colleges die right in front of me, I do not want to kill someone. But hey you said. "Share YOUR Opinion" so I did.
If your bored go work at McDonalds or something, Or better yet get help.

I respect you if you want to fight for your country but remember you could always get a normal day to day job. What you think now may change when you're infront of someone ready to pull the trigger... Just be safe and make sure that when you make your decision you know what you're doing

Im thinking about joining the military, I still have a few years till i can join tho.
Also, if i had to kill someone that was shooting at me, or causing me or others harm or danger, It wouldn't bother me either

you sound like another ungrateful ****. i want to fight for YOU and YOUR tomorrow. it is a decision that is not easy to make and i am asking on people who have passed experience in the army. if you look at my post the main thing i am looking for is help. YOUR reply is far from it.

I am in the Royal Regiment Of Scotland 1 Scots and it is the best choice i ever did, if you are still 16 i would join now and go to AFC Harrogate because the younger you join the better it will be, i have been deployed to afghanistan twice and just returned in october, apart from the firefights i enjoyed but as soon as you get in a firefight the adrenaline kicks in and its not to bad, also you will make friends for life in the army it is amazing and about the killing part i am just the same i just think in my head it is either their life or either me or one of my best friends

thank you very much for your reply sir, i am worried that if i join the army i will have to fight along side the type of people that post negative stuff ^^ even on this post... if i had to fight along side someone who is very very ignorant and putting our lives in danger i would be extremely angry:L so a question ... what do you do if there is someone like that? who do you go to, to report them?
