Getting your save ready for the editor.

Xbox 360 Way

1. Get you save off your Hardrive on your xbox.
2. Open it in horizon.
3. click on the contents tab.
4. Extract the INFO.BIN

Now your ready to mod!

PS3 Way

1. Move your save from your PS3 to a USB and plug it in to your PC.
2. Ckick open then open your Payday 2 Save game path
3. Click on Game Save editing.

What to do after your done modding your save![Xbox 360 only!]

1. Open your save in horizon(your actual save not the INFO.BIN)
2. Click on contents
3. Click inject over Your old INFO.BIN and select your modded INFO.BIN
4. click Save Rehash and Resign and your all set!

How to mod your level.

1. Open your save in the editor.
2. Click on ExperienceManager.
3. Click on level and change the numer anywhere from 1-100.
4. Then click save at the bottom and your level will save.

How to unlock all skills.

There are two ways to do this, i wil post them both.

First way.

1. When your save is open in the editor you will see this.

2. Click max and them save and your done!

Second way(if you want the achievement).

1. Click on skill tree manager.
2. Click on points.
3. Change the number to whatever you like.

Unlock all guns at any level.

2. Click on blackmarket/weapons
3. Click on any gun and click the unlocked tab.
4. Change it from false to true.

How to get any mask you want.

4. You can only add 9.

How to mod your money.

I got to rep 100 within 2 weeks of getting the game. I see no point to this.

What is the point of doing anything? Because you can.

Try it this way. Thanks to thebisnac.

Never mind, I figured it out. What you have to do if you have the new patch on payday is delete everything to do with payday on your ps3. This means your saved data and the game data. I suggest backing up your current save though just in case you can't get this to work.
After deleting everything, load up payday but do not install the patch. Get to a point where your game saves the. Quit and transfer your save onto a USB. Open it up in the editor and do what you want with it as you would have normally done. Save it when done and transfer back to the ps3. Start the game up and once again do not install the patch. Once the game has loaded, ensure all your mods worked and that the save isn't corrupt. Once everything is good, quit the game, reload it and let the patch download.
Once everything is downloaded and installed it should work like a charm!
I did this on two separate ps3's today, so it definitely works

Yeah I already did that, but the software avaible is not for the version without the patch. I need the original software cause when I try to load my save file it says' this is in unexpected version'. BTW I am doing this on a PS3, region 1 America

Then i cant help you, i dont have a Ps3 anymore. Sorry.

Damn. Well can anybody help me out? I need an updated version of the editor or the old version that works on the unpatched gam.

I apologize for not replying back. The way I went about finding the editor to use to modify the unpatched save was by searching google for "Payday 2 PS3 hack". There are a bunch of videos that show up for YouTube. I picked the one from December 17,2013 that I believe was 10 minutes long. In the video description. It has the link to the editor.
Just keep in mind, being that you have to delete all of your data, make a new save pre patch, modify it, then re patch the game, it's not a quick process. I strongly recommend making sure your save has everything you want in it after using the editor before re installing the patch.
I gapped on putting weapon mods and masks into my save, but I really don't feel like doing the process over again to have them in my save. Luckily the sweet tooth mask DLC is out.

I don't know if it was a problem before on the ps3, but having lucky aced now doesn't stop you from getting masks and patterns

My reasoning is that I got very bored with the game. After legitly getting to rep 80, beating all the heists on each of the difficulties provided, I wanted more. Modifying my game did that for me. It's fun again that my player constantly sprints, can throw bags like Peyton Manning, has ridiculously long lasting thick skin, can get himself out of bleed out everytime by shooting one person, can yell at people when they are downed to revive them, and has 21 rounds in 1 clip for the Locomotive shotgun to unload in the dozers face at once. This doesn't sound fun? It surely isn't really a challenge, but even playing legit at rep 80 wasn't a challenge anymore.
To each their own of course. Like the others have already mentioned, it's not something you are being forced to do. If you don't like it, don't do it. And be sure to kick me from a game if you see me so that I don't take all the kills while having 75% + accuracy.

I remembered doing this on the pc near the day that game came out.
