I personally think modifying the graphics and such would
change the feel of the old games for sure. Just not sure
if that would be a good thing or not. It would be cool
if IW added a few new maps or guns to the game but they
won't. It's all about making money. That's why there's
a new game every year instead of just adding onto the old ones.

Rehashing the game would generate more hate.

yeah i know where you are coming from i would happily stick with the old graphics for the feel of the old games and you are very correct about them doing it for the money it upsets me how such a good franchise went down hill really badly you can tell when they put no effort into the game for example the first mission on ghosts with the same animation from the last mission on mw2. and they just change the look of the guns a little and re name them. such a shame...

Yeah i agree but what even if they just made a patch for all the older cods and like announced and such or they are restting everyones stats for people who want to go back to the old games ect

What they could do, as I have seen done before....

Give a digital download code for the game with the next gen release of the next CoD.

Dont mess with any content, just leave as vanilla as possible for the port.

That's a good idea they should do that.

I think that it's something that would work for sure, but with a limited market. Not many people want to go back to games such as COD 4 and WAW, simply because there's newer and fresher games out there who've stolen the spotlight. And they would basically have to remake those games in order to take them to next gen consoles.

Nonetheless, it's not a bad Idea. Simply very unlikely.

For me, cod was the greatest game ever back when it was new, and I have never played a game as fun. I don't think bringing back cod4 and such to xbox one will make it any more fun to be honest. These aren't really new games, and that was the part that made it exciting.
