I'm going to try to keep it short here. I'm getting tired of seeing these threads arise that just look like an open invitation to raise your post count without offering any help or thought in your response.
The main Sub-Forums I'm talking about are listed below:
The main Sub-Forums I'm talking about are listed below:
Forum Games
These are always the most populated topics on the website. If you want a flaming topic, go here. These topics can be fun at times, but a lot of them are extremely lacking originality and rely on you completely guessing the next person who will post. Not to mention these topics are often recycled. Every week there seems to be a new topic about a game that has already been played.
"What is your Favorite ______" Topics
I understand that people would like to get opinions on what people enjoy in the community. However, a lot of these topics are about random stuff. It would be fine if they were about electronics, seeing as this is a tech website, it would be nice if people ask your opinion on your favorite electronics; but most of them are about food, drinks, and even as broad as color.
What is the deal with these topics? Do you have a problem like I do, or do you just not care?

I totally agree with you here.
The forum games section should not count for post counts. I see people posting 10-15 times on that one post and it gets quite annoying to see people like "Wrong lol I choose 19 lol".

I'm going to be completely honest and say that I post in some of the "What is your favorite..." threads too (never forum games) but if my response isn't in the first 10 I don't even bother posting.
I feel like if they made it so your post count doesn't go up in Forum Games, the popularity of the sub-forum would drop significantly.
