So I want to buy an Xbox One Play & Charge Kit. While looking for one I came across your typical Chinese knock off. A few things I noticed was that it came with 2 1200mah batteries compared to the 1 600mah battery in the official Microsoft kit. Also, the Chinese knock off one was less than half the price. Theoretically speaking, I should get more battery life with the knock offs. Should I buy them or just stick to the Microsoft one? Please post below your opinions.

I did the same thing you are doing.
I went on amazon and bought a knockoff play and charge kit.
I have had it for 3 days and it works fine. I paid 8$ for it and it is also the 1200 mh version. The only issues I have had was that it was not easy to get into my controller. For some reason the pieces of plastic were hard to fit in the controller back and I ended up bending one of the pieces while trying to force it in.
Once you found out how it goes in it works fine.
The charging port on the back doesnt seem great and I feel like if I ever drop the controller while its charging it will 100% break. But as long as you are careful with it, it gets the job done without breaking your wallet
Hope I helped
