Well, I just started using the Xbox one DVR after having it since the Xbox came out and I have to say, Its amazing. First off, The "Game DVR" Can Record 5 minutes at a time before you have to start recording again. I Find it pretty awesome. You can record for as much as you want! Its good if you don't have a PVR Or a recording device to record with. Its still worth using if you have one!. All you have to do is Record the Gameplay and edit it.
To edit it all you have to do is go to the Upload Studio App and Hit the start button and click edit. You can Add up to 5 clips at a time. If you think about it you can Record up to 25 minutes all together if you record all 5 minutes. You can also Commentate over it with the headset that comes with the xbox or even your own. You can also record a face-cam type thing with the Kinect. Its simple and easy!
So, To upload it to youtube you have to click "finish" when you're done editing everything. It will then render/upload it. It will ask you if you want to Upload - Upload to Skydrive (or something like that) - Cancel. Click the middle one. Then When thats done you have to sign into your Skydrive on your computer, download the video, Then you can to upload it to YouTube and you're done!. Atleast that's how I do it. Its 420p for me but I believe you can get it to 720p.
I don't have any complaints about the DVR because its simple and easy to use. I will upload a test as soon as I can.
thanks for reading.
