You cant report them for it, as its not really breaking any rules. But yea iomo the whole introduce yourself thing is just stupid. If they made it so your post count wont go up when you post in that section practially no one would post there

People post there for the post count, obviously. Hardly anyone actually posts there for the sincere welcoming for new members.
I don't see the fuss over post counts honestly, it's just a number.
Why does it matter if another user has 5k posts in 2 months? It doesn't effect you in anyway.
Post count is literally what its name says, it shows how many times you have posted.
Why should this be boosted? Most people post crappy posts for the 1 extra post on there count.
I've seen stuff like 'I agree with you, I think this too'. There is an agree button, use it. Good on you for agreeing but you don't need to make a post on it.
There shouldn't be this war on posts, it's just a count. The higher doesn't mean anything. TomorrowLand, without the hurtful slur - for all we know he spammed his way up like everyone else. A lot of people know him more than I do, and he may not have. But I doubt every post was a quality one.

Yes i agree, But sometimes i go on that form to actually welcome newmembers and make some new friends.. Not everyone spams it but alo't do

It will never change. The most we can do is report them for spamming. It gets annoying to see also.

I imagine the "Introduce Yourself" section is just banned members coming back and trying to get "TTG Famous"(as I like to call it) and the people who post on it consistently also wan't to be "TTG Famous".
What is "TTG Famous" you ask? 'TTG Famous' is when you have gold, a name that is in some way shape or form OG, a matching signature and avatar, and you post congratulations on everybodys milestones and try hard to come across as a nice person who is intelligent, and will say what the community wants to hear, not what is right. And worst of all they fish for likes on their posts and are completely unoriginal.
That is what I see the majority of TTG coming to these days, the only section I see people not acting like this is the PC forums and obviously there are exceptions in this trend, for example Tomorrowland.
