Hello, I purchased a new Blue Snowball USB microphone on Thursday and set it up / installed it all properly.

Whenever I try to record any sound it has a loud static sound and my voice sounds like a robot? I've spent the last few days looking around online and have tried loads of different things from uninstalling the drivers, changing the audio setting, making sure there is no background noise and also tried it on 3 different computers.

I don't really know what else to try, I can send it back and get a replacement but I thought I would ask on here in case anyone else had the same problem.
