I had an open NAT on my PS3 but as soon as i shared the internet connection via an ethernet cable from my PS3 to my PC i now have a moderate one and cant connect to certain people. This is annoying but i dont know enough about PC's to change this. I need my PS3 and PC connected via the ethernet cable so i can real time mod my games. Any ideas and i will gift anyone who makes it open with the ethernet connected thanks

Well if it only happens when you connect it to the pc, then it's most likely the pc causing the NAT change. Try troubleshooting your network connections, and messing around with the settings, do a bit of googling about that and I'm sure you'll have it solved.

I am not kidding when i say this, i have googled non-stop and have tried different ip addresses, porting, messing with my network settings and i thought maybe someone on here has had a similar problem and solved it

You need to open a few ports via your router/modem. You also must make sure UPnP is turned on. If you can't find the setting for this, refer to your routers documentation.
Open the following ports:
Port 88 (UDP)
Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
Port 80 (TCP)
Again if you don't know how to do this, refer to your routers documentation.

If you connection is open when not going through your PC then its your PC blocking it.
Try disabling your firewall all the way and seeing if that fixes it.
