I have a few questions about the Xbox one.
1. Will you still be able to chat with people on the Xbox360 like party chat, and private chat?
2. Will you be able to play games with the people on the Xbox 360
3. The overall question, is the Xbox One really worth the $500?

EDIT : Can you receive and send messages to people from the Xbox one to the 360?

1) No
2) No
3) Yes, but I don't really like the layout of the homepage and how the system works visually, it's to much animations I think, Lags, a pain to get to your friends list because it lags, but other than that, it's not to bad to have.

I think the whole windows 8 layout looks bad, but when it comes to navigating i just use the voice commands. great voice recognition and mine doesn't seem to lag, it's pretty quick with most things. Multitasking is one of my favourites, but when i bought the console i didn't do much research and thought it was backwards compatable, so no you can't play on the xbox one with your 360 friends, and you can't talk to them.

They should bring skype to the 360 so we can talk to our friends on the 360 though, in my opinion.

Since the first two questions have been answered already, I'll just give you my opinion on the 3rd one. I think it's definitely worth the 500$, if you what you're doing, and which games you're going to play. Personally, I regret buying it because I have no games for it except ghosts (which i think sucks) so I don't have fun. I bought it over a month ago and it's still sitting there, and I've only used it maybe once or twice. Think long and hard before you spend that much money, but it's definitely worth it.
