Sting's contract with TNA has expired. WWE has beein trying to get Sting for a while now. His contract which there are no details yet because it's not fully confirmed will involve a 2015 HOF induction, which gives WWE a yr to get the fans familiar with him.

It's now or never for Sting. He's not getting any younger and he's certainly not getting any better in the ring. This will be his last big payday. The money he could make at Wrestlemania alone would trump anything TNA can offer him for a year of work. TNA will be gone within the next 14 months. If Sting signs with WWE, he guarantees himself long-term security. No, he's not going to be on the road for 12 months straight, but think of all the money he will make on merchandise and DVD sales. Wow. Remember, WWE owns practically Sting's entire career (well... the part of his career that anyone gives a damn about). They can make several new DVDs of Sting's life and career and fans will eat it up. A Legend's Contract will be worth more than all his TNA contracts combined. Besides, Sting owes it to the fans to wrestle in front of a 70,000+ crowd one last time. No more wrestling in front of 20 people in a school gym!

I actually just got done reading an article about this.

He has not signed, yet.

But the plan is for Sting to be introduced at Wrestlemania.

Ok, I'll be the one to say it, I don't want Sting to come to WWE only to face Undertaker. In fact, I don't want them to wrestle each other at all despite that being one of the biggest dream matches in pro wrestling and my reason is this:

If you watched wrestling during WCW, ECW, WWF Attitude Era ect, you'd know that Sting is a mega star and is not going to come to WWE just to lose to the Undertaker and leave.

But you are right. Sting has been wrestling in TNA for months without a contract.
