Hey guys, I am jailbreaking my iPhone 4 with iOS 7.0.4 and I am having this serious problem where when i get to the final step of jailbreaking, where it says please unlock your device to continue, when I unlock my phone, it doesn't register and thus causes the jailbreak to not commence. I have tried everything. This has happened multiple times and I haven't figured anything out.
I have no passcode on my device.
I have tried opening the evasion icon (even though it doesn't say to)

PLEASE HELP ME
REPPING FOR SOLUTION

if you updated to 7.0.4 on your phone that's what OTA means or over the air update...and you cant jailbreak unless you update to 7.0.4 via computer

1. Backup iPhone with iCloud
2. Reset iPhone
3. Close iTune
4. Jailbreak
5. Open iTune and restore from backup

samething happened to me for iPhone 4/4s and worked that way.

won't that just counteract the jailbreak since you're restoring to before you got the jailbreak?
