im pretty sure the only way to get the hotknife without the dlc is to use the url glitch which makes it invisible in the garage. Now, what if you were to call your mechanic and have him bring it to you the use one of various dupe methods. Then when you get into the duped hotknife that is not your personal vehicle and instead of doing the usual and selling the car tag and insure it replacing the "glitched" car. Would you then be able to drive it in n out of your garage or atleast make it visible in the garage?
