The Extinction Storyline is not being understood correctly and most people are missing key details. Samantha Cross is a huge part of the story if you couldn't tell already. She is practically a genuis and has some sort of connection to these aliens(really called Cryptids).

Where is the location they are traveling to?
Why is Dr. Samantha Cross attached to an alien?
Why is she on an operating table?
Why won't the Cryptid aliens kill her?
