Compaq Presario CQ-56. I replaced the charger power jack that connects to the motherboard. When i try to turn it on the power light comes on and goes off... What could be the problem?

Did you try removing the battery and inserting it back in?

Yes. Still Doesn't Work. Tried Putting Charger In Without Battery In And Turn On... Still The Same...

Just spit balling here um have you attempted to replace the AC power supply for another one you might have lying around your house? Or maybe you could borrow one from a family member or a friend.

Did you replace the jack because it wasn't working before? It's surely related to the issue you're having.
