A couple weeks ago i was in the middle of making a TTG IM/Shoutbox program, but i just lost interest in making it to be honest.
But over the past 3 months or maybe it was 4, me and a buddy of mine have been elbow deep in the Unix system attempting to make out own operating system, with its own dependencies and all (Web browser, word processor, ect...) So it brings with great pleasure to give you (the people of the ttg community) a sneak peak at what is to be our operating system.
A quick glance...
This is what happens when the Operating system is launched.
The Sidebar in Action
TTG on the Scenic browser
New mouse cursor
Patch Notes Below
Updated to 0.1.5
Finished 'About OS' Program
Updated to 0.1.6
This update allows the installation of custom packages such as Steam (Steam will not be prepackaged in the full version)
4 undocumented updates...
Updated to 0.2.0
This updated added some general bug fixes and updated the way windows work as well as a task bar. The way the task bar works is if the name has a * next to it, it will be shown, if it doesn't it will be hidden.
Please give us some feedback.
Also if you guys are wondering my friend that is working on this with me is Jorkz

Looks great, I'd defiantly give this a little try out on an older machine that I'm not scared to get broken.
