Can you still be banned for modding achievements for Xbox 360?

If you modify something their is always a chance if being banned try to keep it a secret from your friends.

Sorry I should rephrase that, I meant is there a higher chance of being banned for achievement modding now that xbox is giving rewards for high Gamerscore? Or is it like how it was 2 years ago where there really wasn't that much scanning by microsoft on gamerscore?

if you do mod your gamerscore i hope you do get band. what an a$$... anyway just remember anytime you mod your account or your 360 you run the risk of getting band nuff said now gtfo

yep i got gamerscore reset and i was at 78k for a yr then 1 hit 79k with addition of gta5's achievements and I got 2 week suspension with the gamerscore reset and labeled "Cheater"

Don't listen to what most people have said in this thread, they don't know what they're talking about.

You only get banned for achievement modding if you have any prior infractions on your account.

If you are found out, it mostly ends up with you getting reset 9 time out of 10.

Some people get caught, others do not. It is all about luck really and using sensible discretion while modding.

Some tips to try and stay off the radar:

Be sensible and mod a sensible amount - nothing ridiculous.
Set your game library/achievements to private.
Use timestamps and try to unlock achievements in their natural order.

The risk is still the same as it was before.
