So I'm trying to use force host here (my own tool, relax ) and my NAT type is on strict. I've reset my router for about 10 mins and I'm still on strict. I'm not going to enable UPnP or open port 3074, those are just security holes waiting to happen... Any ideas on how to fix?

Strict NAT type usually means you can only play with people in your local area on a decent connection. E.g. Only USA. It doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to force host. Double check your properties on your tool to see if there is any obvious mistakes/errors.
