When it reaches version 0.3.0. So probably 3-5 weeks. I can release it earlier but i want it to be perfect for testers.

It looks pretty cool, although be careful with it because of copyright reasons (may not be a good idea to release)

It would be really nice if you made this a lightweight distro

Dang, I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm genuinely impressed by something on TTG's programming forums. Well done. I look forward to seeing the project's progress.

Im probably am wrong but isn't it a "shell" that lets you run programs built from another OS? And if so could you just use/make a shell to run the games steam has?

My mentality is that with significantly less programs running on your OS than on Win7 would speed up performance but a decent 5-10 fps.

Thank you very much.

Shell is the Linux/Unix command line, much like windows CMD.
And yes the OS at this point is light weight, so it takes very little resources to run, giving you better overall performance.

I know what shell is, just was thinking there was a "shell" or something, but I was wrong.

Will you be able to make it run games designed for windows?

Also you're going to need to get someone or yourself to write custom drivers for your OS.. I wouldn't install it if I didn't have my graphics drivers.
