You both have put 2 x 2GB of ram. Why? On a build like this, you should have 1 x 4GB stick and if he wants to upgrade later to 8GB, he can without replacing the 2 2GB sticks.
Also, AMD's new APU has some serious power behind it and can play BF4 on low with 30 frames and I also hear it can be overclocked nicely
