Snag wrote I can understand PC users still getting this. But for consoles, this is ridiculous. It already sucks having to pay a subscription fee just to play online with people. But adding this is basically just paying for a second Xbox Live account. That's a bit too much money for the average American. I'd love to have this game but I just don't think I can afford with all these fees.

Lmao... blame it on MICROSHIT, Bethesda has been pushing Microsoft to allow you guys to play without GOLD but Microshit is saying NO. PS4 FTW!
Well someone is obviously a hard core ps4 fanboy

How do you expect the game servers to continue running, and how do you expect continuous updates if Bethesda isn't getting any money from the product? $15 is nothing, look at World of Warcraft, Runescape, and most other MMOs. They have paid subscriptions because it funds the game.

Yes, but they don't have to pay to play online as well as play that particular game online. I wouldn't care if it was just the $15/month, but I'm also paying $60/month for Gold to play online in general. That's what I have a problem with. They need to do it like Defiance, and not have a monthly fee on console.

If you are paying $60/month for gold you are paying too much. Gold here, and for all my American friends, only costs around $10.75 a month buying a single month at a time, less if you buy a bundle. So with Gold and ESO you'd only be paying at most $25.75 a month, with the ability to play many games with others.

I meant year, but I was ahead of myself. Although it's closer to $70 now isn't it. Honestly, I really do want this game. I might get it for the single player side, but I don't think I'll dish out the extra money to play online. It's disappointing, but I'll deal with it. Not everything in life works out like we want it.
