I see where you're coming from on how crucial it is to be knowledgeable about the Bill of Rights and such; but I would have to blame our schools for not informing students about the US political system and judicial system. The only chance I had to get an opportunity to learn in-depth about these matters is law and government class in high school. Which is only available to Juniors and Seniors. It's unfair to discredit individuals who don't care the Bill of Rights, there are several factors on how they might have been raised and what they have been exposed to.

That's completely irrelevant.
Promoting is promoting regardless of where the profits go.

It's a matter of opinion what you think you, or other people should care about.

Also, if we're going to get picky with definitions, Promoting something is actively encouraging people to buy it, which is what he did.

He's encouraging others to support the information war. He's a father with a family of his own. By purchasing the products on the website, you're supporting him and his family, whole news crew, radio broadcasts, and websites.

That's completely irrelevant.
Promoting is promoting regardless of where the profits go.
