you have to do the mission with lamar the race then steal drugs for Gerald then rob a store get clothes you should be good after that

It doesn't take long, maybe 20-60 minutes. From what I can remember, it's something like this:

Do the race
Go to the clothes shop
Do the drug robbery mission
Get an insured car
Do a team death match

Them and maybe a couple more and then you're free...

Yeah, the death match you can just quit after you start it though. That's what I did.
