Usually it's just spam, or they're a leeching for lobbys.

Most people just want Reputation Power. That's why they spam posts.

NO JOKE i saw a user on here who has only been a member for 5 days now and already has +1k!!!!
This is insane, most of the posts probably just come from sitting in the introduce yourself forum haha.

Most users that have that have two favorite sections.
Milestone and introduce yourself. I saw one user who copy and pasted this exact thing into every single post "Welcome to the site stay active".
I think it's quite annoying when I see this happen. I know one user who reiterates what everyone else says. It's basically boosting for post count.

imgur wrote There are extremely active members here who are averaging 200+ posts daily. Do you see people claiming the top 20 or so posters are spammers? No. Because they aren't spamming. 24 hours is a long time. If I cared for post count I think 200+ daily is more than reasonable.
Its a case by case instance. Look at the posts if they're something like "wow cool job bro, good luck with your goals" report and move on. Don't dignify them with a topic. If people spam they'll ultimately not be welcome on the site.

Wow cool job bro, good luck with your goals
I laughed.
You say that none of the top posters spam. But i'm pretty sure a couple months back, I saw a user that was in top 10 posters and still is, saying that people in that area have a lot of un-noticed spam, and I have to agree with the user that said that.
A lot of the time people who join recently and have a large amount of posts, they say they are helpful, but the useful/un-useful posts can say otherwise.

It's not spam if users construct creative responses. I agree 100% on what you're saying, but if they're helping someone, then what matters?
