No just no you have no clue what your talking about if xexmenu is not seeing the ip tht means there is no active connection simply going to check FSD or network settings isn't gonna make him magically be connected all of the sudden...

If you have a wireless adapter, the official Xbox 360 one just plug that in and when ever it tells you to connect to xbox live just don't. I usually do this and I have not been banned so far
