why go with a sli form 650ti instead of buying something like a 770? Although the performance on that sli may be better some games do not support sli card config

At the time i did not have enough money to buy the 770 and farther down the line i add the 2nd 650. The performance and power consumption would be allot better then what i have now.

The PSU is a red flag. It's an Andyson unit, so it could be alright or it could be complete trash and a danger to the rest of your system. I'd suggest at least a quality 550w unit.

Yes, it would. Especially since you have the reference models, you won't be doing much overclocking with them. What I'm telling you is that it's VERY likely the unit you have is trash and rule #1 is not to skimp on the power supply. Wattage does not equate to quality.
